Auto Motors vietnam is a 100% foreign direct investnment company, and a subsidiary of Jean Rouyer Automobile based in Cholet (France).

Since 2010, AMV is the exclusive importer of Renault for Vietnam. With 5 showrooms in Vietnam: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh city, Pleiku city (Gia Lai province), Buon Ma Thuot city (Dak Lak province), Renault offers its customers a range of 6 cars: Renault Koleos, Renault Duster, Renault Latitude, Renault Logan, Renault Megane and Renault Sandero.

In 2016, Renault Vietnam will continue expanding its showroom network all over the country.

Jean Rouyer Automobile is the 4th largest automobile retail group in France. Founded by Jean Rouyer back in 1982, it now sells 33'000+ vehicules a year, with 49 dealerships, 14 brands and a workforce of 1450 peoples. The group turnover is about 701 Mio EUR in 2012.

The group is involved in new and used cars sales, full service and body shop, spare parts with all those brands, and also in short term rental with 11 agencies for the Europcar franchise.

Renault: Car brand for the green environment

Since 2011, Renault has become the only carmaker that offers a full line of electric vehicles. For Renault, electric vehicles are the leading solutions to protect the environment by not producing CO2 emissions and so far there have been 115,000 tons of CO2 being prevented from going into the atmosphere, which is equivalent to 1.15 million barrels of oil.

On 16 December, 2015, Auto Motors Viet Nam (AMV), official importer of Renault in Vietnam and Mai Linh group signed the protocol to deploy electric Renault cars in Vietnam for taxi transportation service in order to reduce air pollution in big urban cities in Vietnam.

As expected, there will be from 10.000 to 20.000 electric cars to be imported on a duration of 5 years. The cooperation between global pioneering electric car maker and the biggest taxi company in Vietnam will certainly bring many social values, protecting a green future for the next generations.
